Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will be held Monday, April 28^th and May 5th. 

If you are registering, please ensure you have all completed paperwork:  registration packet, including all signatures of children over 10 years of age confirming they also understand all CHAMPS policies (code of conduct, dress code, classroom expectations…); all adult/youth insurance and athletic waivers; Requested Class for; and your registration payment (checks written to CHAMPS or exact cash only). 

Registration Notes:

1. WAIVERS:  Each adult attending and each child attending needs to fill out a separate Adult or Youth Waiver for insurance. Each child enrolling in a physical education class will also need a Youth Sports Waiver.
2. POLICY MANUAL:  It is of utmost importance that the contents of the policy handbook are understood by all family members. Be sure that all family members have signed appropriately the section in the registration packet on page 6 entitled “POLICY ACCEPTANCE and CHAMPS Student/Family/Guest Code of Conduct per the Policy Manual”, those children aged ten and over signing for themselves, and parents of children under ten signing in their place.  
3. CLASS AGE REQUIREMENT:  Class registration is based on a child’s age when classes start on Monday, September 8th. Teachers may make exceptions to this rule after May 12th.
4. PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS: Families cannot register for private music lessons. After arranging with the instructor, the music instructor will need to email the Board at [email protected] and students will then be placed in the private lesson slots.
5. DUPLICATE CLASSES: Registering for duplicate classes within a subject (ie. Science, PE, music..) will not be permitted at the onset of registration. This is to allow all students the opportunity to enroll in classes.
6. Families may arrive at their discretion and line up outside the back door of Cardinal Drive Church (2300 Cardinal Drive Rd., Rolling Meadows), but will not be permitted in the building until after 9:00 am when your name is called. We will have a sign in sheet available at 8:15 where we will ask you to put your phone number down. You do not need to remain in line after signing the sign in sheet. We will call you when your name comes up; please monitor your phone. If no answer, we will go on to the next registrant on the list. There is a public park for you to wait at if you choose, for you will not be able to wait in the building.
7. Please be sure to click  JOIN at the top of the CHAMPS webpage to join CHAMPS.
8. Families will be given a CHAMPS New Family, Requested Classes form to indicate the classes desired.   Please submit this with your registration documents.
9. AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE:   When you are called to the registration table, please provide all completed paperwork (registration form, insurance and athletic waivers, Requested Class Form) and your non-refundable registration payment.  (If you are waitlisted, but not accepted, your registration check will not be deposited.  You may request its return or for it to be detroyed.)
10. REGISTERING FOR CLASSES:  DUE TO THE NUMBER OF FAMILIES RETURNING, CHAMPS HAS A LIMITED NUMBER OF SPACES AVAILABLE FOR NEW FAMILIES.  Registration applications will be accepted April 28 and May 5.  The board will review registration applications, taking into consideration the time your application was received and the classes requested.
