2024-2025 OPEN REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW FAMILIES

1.  Open Registration will begin Monday, May 6st, at 9:00 am.  Families may arrive at their discretion and sign in beginning at 8:15 to reserve their registration spot, but we ask that you please wait outside, for there is limited space in the building.  There is a park next to the parking lot.

2. To save time after turning in your paperwork and payment, please request membership to the CHAMPS website by going here:  https://www.homeschool-life.com/386/signup. Once your payment and paperwork have been reviewed and accepted, you will be granted membership to the website. Please write your username and password down for your records.

3. The registration form, insurance waivers, athletic waivers, and Policy Manual will be available upon arrival.  IMPORTANT:  On page 6 of the registration packet, all adults attending must read and sign off on all policies within the Policy Manual.  Children 10 and over must also read and sign off on the portions of the Policy Manual pertaining to Classroom Expectations, Dress Code, and Student Code of Conduct.  

4.  All paperwork must be completed in full before families can be considered registered. If any forms or signatures are missing, a family cannot register. The following forms need to be completed in full and returned to register:

• Registration Form, complete with signatures of all adults attending and children over 10 confirming they understand all policies within the manual.  Parents will sign off for children under 10 years old.

• Adult Insurance Waiver and Release of Liability - complete one per adult attending CHAMPS

• Youth Insurance Waiver and Release of Liability - complete one per child present (including infants) at CHAMPS (whether taking classes or not) 

• Amateur Minor Athletic Waiver and Release of Liability - complete one per child taking a physical education class (PE, Tai Kwon Do, Music and Movement)

5. Registration fees are due at the time of registration. Members (with monitoring duties):  $60, Non-members (no monitoring duties): $375.  Acceptable forms of payment are checks written to CHAMPS or exact cash.  If a family does not have their fee, they cannot register.  PLEASE NOTE: Registration fees are only refundable if all your chosen classes are canceled or you are waitlisted for all classes.

6. Families will be called in by text or phone call to the registration table in the order they signed in.  We will try to reach you only twice before going to the next name whereupon you will lose your spot.  Please monitor your phones. 

7.  Class registration is based on a child’s age when classes start on Monday, September 9th.  Teachers may make exceptions to this rule after May 14th.  No exceptions will be granted before that date.

8.  A limited number of spaces for new families is available.  Once those spaces are filled, families will be waitlisted.  Waitlisted families will be asked to complete a form with the classes they are interested in.  Registration payments will only be deposited for waitlisted families if they are added to CHAMPS. 

A MANDATORY parent meeting/open house will be on Monday, August 19th at 7pm to introduce teachers, review policies, and finalize the registrations, including service commitment sign-ups. All families are required to attend.
